Join us for a 3 day course, 12th - 14th August, exploring the worlds of photography, mono printing and textiles:

Playful Prints- an exploration of Monotype Printmaking with Chine-Colle

During this exciting fast paced day of printmaking, we will generate a large body of different prints, exploring a range of direct mono printing techniques; painted, wiped and drawn, onto different papers. Mono printing is a very free-ing, open ended process, working directly with the inks on a plate and layering colour and imagery.  We will create a range of different mark making surfaces on fine paper inspired by found and nature imagery, considering different visual effects as images layer and blend, and combine these to make q more resolved series of prints as the day progresses.

This fun day is a good way to let go and expand your way of working, develop skills, and create a portfolio of prints and techniques…
